Terms of Service
1. About LocalPulse
LocalPulse is an AI-powered marketing tool for local businesses. It is operated by Wanaco Oy Ab, a Finnish company (Business ID: 3457555-8). By registering an account, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card is required during the trial. The trial includes a limit of 20,000 AI tokens total. When the trial expires, your account enters read-only mode — you can view your data but cannot create new content or use Bix AI.
3. Subscriptions and billing
After your trial, LocalPulse is available on monthly subscription plans (Starter €19/month, Pro €49/month, plus applicable VAT). Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until the end of the period you have paid for.
5. No refunds for partial months
We do not issue refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, your subscription remains active until the end of that month. No partial refund is issued for the unused days.
6. Data after cancellation
After your subscription ends, your account enters read-only mode. Your data is retained for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted. You will receive email reminders at 30 days and 1 day before deletion. You may resubscribe at any time within the 90-day window to restore full access.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use LocalPulse only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service to:
- Publish spam, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Violate the terms of connected platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, LINE, WhatsApp)
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
8. AI-generated content
LocalPulse uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate marketing content. You are solely responsible for all content published through the service, including AI-generated content. Always review AI-generated text before publishing. LocalPulse is a drafting tool — you are the publisher.
AI models can produce factually incorrect content. Verify hours, prices, and other facts before publishing, especially in Finnish and Thai where AI translation may contain errors.
9. Platform connections
Connecting a third-party platform (Google, Facebook, Instagram, LINE, WhatsApp) is subject to that platform's own terms of service. LocalPulse acts as an authorised agent on your behalf. You are responsible for maintaining valid connections and complying with each platform's policies.
10. Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Maintenance windows and unexpected outages may occur. We are not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wanaco Oy Ab's liability for any claim arising from use of LocalPulse is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are resolved in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email and in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
